LORNA ROSE LaFORTE Suddenly and peacefully on Saturday, February 23, 2002 at Bellvue, AB, Lorna Rose LaForte formerly of Fort Alexander, passed away at the age of 52 years. She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory, two daughters, Kimberly Konowalchuk and husband George, Lori Martineau and husband Mike; six grandchildren, Kai, Kait Lyn, Jeorge, Luke, Lance and Taylor; mother Irene LaForte; four sisters, Marge, Sylvia, Marlene and Anita; four brothers, Wilfred, Lloyd, Eugene and Earl. She was predeceased by her father Joseph; grandfather Alexander LaForte; grandmother Philomene LaForte; brother Ernie; uncles, Napoleon, Frank, Freddy and Leo; aunts, Grace, Nancy and Sarah and special cousin Cory. Wake services will be held on Friday, March 1, Saturday, March 2 and Sunday, March 3 at the residence of Maurice and Noella LaForte, Fort Alexander. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 4 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church, Fort Alexander, MB with Fr. Jean-Jacques Serceau officiating. Interment to follow at the Parish Cemetery. Special thanks to family and friends, Maurice and Noella LaForte, aunts, uncles and all those who cared.
