DOROTHY McCLURE (nee STOBART) 1917-2002 Peacefully on Thursday, February 28, 2002 at the Grace Hospital, Dorothy McClure passed away in the arms of her family. Dorothy was born December 2, 1917 in Winnipeg. She married her beloved husband Daniel McClure in 1942 and their life together centered around family and their many happy moments at their cottage in Grand Marais. Dorothy enjoyed her 15 year employment at the St. James Civic Centre where she met and made numerous friends. She was an inspiration to all with her positive attitude, caring nature and love of family and friends. This was acknowledged by the love and support she received from her family and friends during her last months with us. Dorothy was delighted with the many treats, visits and phone calls she received. The family would like to thank all these wonderful people who showed so much love and support and made her last days a lot brighter. We would like to thank all of the home care workers and the nurses on the second floor of the Grace Hospital for their excellent care. Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Daniel, daughter Maureen Ollson, infant son Danny and sisters, Olive Musser and Winnie Charlton. She leaves to mourn her daughter and son-in-law Kathy and Joe Nowell of Winnipeg, sister and brother-in-law Kay and Bill McCaffrey of Grand Forks, BC, and sister Jean Hansen of Winnipeg. She is also survived by grandchildren, Andrea Ollson and partner Chuck Nagam, Danny and wife Kathy Ollson, Christina and husband Mishael Halldorsson and Cynthia and Pamela Nowell. Great-grandchildren, Gregory, Christopher and Nicole Ollson and Austin, James and Mikhael Halldorsson. "A beautiful woman filled with grace, poise and passion for life; The characteristics of an angel. Sometimes when God is short an angel, he gives wings to one on earth. Only God knows how the story ends." A memorial service for Dorothy will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 5 at St. Andrews Anglican Church, 2700 Portage Ave. with the Rev.
