ALEXANDER CLARK GILLESPIE Late of Sidney, BC passed away peacefully on February 13, 2002 at the age of 90 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 51 years and best friend Dorothy; and brother Harry of MacDonald, MB; and many nieces and nephews and dear friends. Predeceased by sisters, Minnie and Tillie; and brothers, Bill, Sam, John, Lloyd and Dave. He served from 1934 - 1961 with the RCMP in various positions, including the Arctic and Musical Rides, and also with the Manitoba Government Department of Labour. Thank you to our many friends for your support and to Mount Newton Day Care. Memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 19. In lieu of flowers donations gratefully accepted to the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation, 2166 Mount Newton X Rd., Saanichton, BC, V8M 2B2 or CNIB, 2340 Richmond Rd., Victoria, BC, V8R 4R9.
