Dale was a long distance truck driver until he got interested in collecting and selling antiques, which he enjoyed very much. Dales life was fulfilled with the blessing of his only daughter Melanie. She brought him unending pride and joy. Dale always looked forward to their weekends together. Cremation has taken place at Dales request, no formal funeral service will be held. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Many thanks to the special good friends that came to visit and give their support in many ways. Special thanks to Dr. Kerr at CancerCare HS, also the staff on 3E at Riverview Hospital. Flowers are gratefully declined. If you so desire there is a Trust Fund for his daughter care of Betty Okaley, The Royal Bank, 1846 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB R2V 3H2, or 383 Templeton Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2V 1S6. Dear Lord Put Your arms around him Hold him in Your tender care, Make up to him for all he suffered And all he had to bear. He went through so much in silence... His spirit didnt bend, He faced his pain with courage Until the very end. It broke our hearts to lose him But he didnt go alone, For part of us went with him The day God called him home. We will always love you. Melanie, Betty, Mel, Darrell, Anne, Chantel and Brenden.
