CLAUDE F. VERMANDER (Veteran Second World War, WO2 Royal Canadian Corp of Signals 1938 - 1966) In hospital, Kingston, ON on Tuesday, March 5, 2002 Claude F. Vermander in his 82nd year. Beloved husband for 59 years of Frances (Blain) Vermander. Loved father of Ron (Susan) of Ottawa, Claudette (Gerald) Truelove of Perth and Bryan (Catherine) of Toronto. Cherished grandfather of Steven and Linda Truelove, Karin and Eric Vermander and Colin and Laura Vermander and great-grandfather of Alexander and Brittany Truelove. Claude will be missed by sister-in-law Jeanne Vermander of Montreal. He was predeceased by brothers, Bruno and Damien Vermander. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, Perth, on Thursday, March 7 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Johns Church, Perth, on Friday at 11:00 a.m. In remembrance, donations to the Dialysis Unit of the Perth and District Hospital would be appreciated. Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 244, will hold a Veterans Service of Remembrance, Thursday, at 7:00 p.m.
