RICHARD (DICK) STOCKBURN -
Date of Passing: Mar 05, 2002
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRICHARD (DICK) STOCKBURN 1916 - 2002 On March 5, 2002 Richard (Dick) peacefully ended his journey. He was a war veteran, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Dicks sense of humour entertained many and "offended a few." He was a backyard mechanic extraordinaire and he always believed "buy high and sell low." Mom and Dad were married for 57 years. Mom has always lovingly cared for Dad and remained so through his illness. Moms strength, courage, passion and commitment saw us all through a difficult time. He will be sadly missed by his wife Joan; children, Carole (Chuck) Le Fevre; Phil (Trisch) Derek (Lois) Roger (Donna) Kim (George) Drazic; Cindy (Wayne) Desrochier; Kelly (Ross) McMillan; his 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Wendy. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Dicks memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or the Canadian Diabetes Association. You will forever be in our hearts and "Well see you in the funny papers."
