MARK JOSEPH BACHUS June 8, 1964 - March 7, 2002 It is with great sadness that I announce the sudden death of my best friend and fiance Mark Bachus on March 7, 2002. Mark will be sadly missed by his fiancee, Marni Larkin; son Scott Bachus; sister Jodi; brother-in-law Bob and nephew Alex (Toronto) cousin Stephanie (Toronto) and his new family, who welcomed him into the fold as one of the kids, Betty and Ray Larkin and son Daniel "brother", and all of his many treasured friends. He is predeceased by his father Henry John Bachus and mother Jean Tizzard Bachus. Mark was born in Toronto, ON and moved to Winnipeg in his mid-20s. He was an avid sportsman. For many years he played on the National Volleyball Team. In his spare time he enjoyed playing golf, baseball and hockey with the Bearcats. He worked the last four years with Nisby Home Renovations, where he helped to build a successful company as a role model and responsible businessman. In the last year he co-purchased an ADT franchise. Mark enjoyed summers at Matlock and was looking forward to sitting on the deck this coming summer. Mark was patient, kind and thoughtful with his friends. We will miss his sense of humour, his jovial attitude at poker nights at Matlock and his Tanqueray gin caesars. For all who knew and loved Mark, be honoured to know that you each added a chapter to his book of life. It is with great peace to know that Mark died knowing how much he was loved. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 12 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Martins in the Field, 160 Smithfield Ave. Honourary pallbearers will be Tony Todd, Dennis Antony, Peter Anadranistakis, Ed Nisby, Doug Reichert and Jamie Black. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marks memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or CancerCare Manitoba. "My life was better because of you. Until we meet again... I know you will always walk beside me." CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
