Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALBERT KNOX Peacefully on Saturday, March 9, 2002 at the Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg, beloved husband, father and papa, Albert Knox, passed away with his wife and children by his side. Albert was born in Molson, MB on April 19, 1932 and grew up in Pointe Du Bois, MB. In the early years of marriage, Albert and Leona moved around the province from Brandon to Winnipeg, to Bissett and finally back to their roots in Pointe Du Bois. Albert was an outdoorsman and enjoyed everything Pointe had to offer. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and lived his life to the fullest. In their retirement years, Albert and Leona enjoyed their winters in the south with the fifth wheel and traveled across Canada in the summer. His last summer was spent at home fishing, in the fall duck hunting with the guys and deer season saw another successful hunt. Albert raised his children and grandchildren to love the outdoors and appreciate everything that nature has to offer. Albert is survived by his beloved wife and childhood sweetheart Leona; his daughter Karen Arsenault (Cam), granddaughter Kristin Arsenault (Jodi Eyolfson), grandson Brendan Arsenault (Andrea Maxwell), his son Kevin Knox (Emilee Pedruchny), granddaughter Alli Knox; sisters, Laura Losnir (Bill), Agnes Hodge (Bryant), Florence Cadger and his brother Bobby (Margaret). Albert was predeceased by his mother Cecilia; father Jack; brother Dave and brother-in-law Gerry Cadger. A graveside service will be held at the Lac du Bonnet cemetery on Wednesday March 13, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alberts memory to the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home.
