VERNON THOMAS NOWELL The death of Vernon T. Nowell occurred at the River East Personal Care Home in Winnipeg, on Friday, March 8, 2002. Vernon was born on Sunday, January 5, 1908 in Yorkton, SK, to Thomas and Aesie Nowell. Mr. Nowell was predeceased by his first wife Pearl (Iverson) in 1978; his second wife Annie McClymont (Phipps) in 1994; his brother Frank in 1969 and his infant sister Evelyn. He is survived by his son Richard (Dick) and his wife Marion of Ste. Anne, MB; his daughter Janat Clemis of Selkirk, MB; step-son Jack Brown and his wife Florence of Winnipeg, MB; step-daughter Pat Fourier and husband Don of Cawston, BC; grandchildren, Richard (Allecia), Sadie (Rick), Laurie (Scott), Janet (Tod), Wendy; great-grandchildren, Amber, Melonie, Karley, Johnathen, Duncan, Dillon, Rachel, Bonnie, Jennifer, Adam, Bonnie, Crystal, Brian, Erik; numerous step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 14, at 1:00 p.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St., Winnipeg, MB. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. At this time, the family of Vernon T. Nowell, wish to thank all the staff from River East Personal Care Home for all their devoted care and attention given to our father until his time of passing.
