RICK HAMILTON Surrounded by his family on March 7 at St. Boniface Hospital, Rick Hamilton passed away at age 49. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Del; children, Brandi (Doug), Shayne (Bobbi), Robin (Charlene), Cali; and his trusty dog Pookee. He also leaves his parents, Mac and Gwen Hamilton; mother-in-law Doreen Hunsaker; brother Darwin (Deb) and their children, Kaleigh and Shea. Rick also had two sisters-in-law, Darlene (John) and Donna (Rick) and their families. Rick was born in Rossburn, MB on June 28, 1952. He attended school in Hamiota where he met Del whom he dated for six and one half years and then married in 1972. Ricks greatest loves in his life were his family, playing hockey and baseball and riding his Harley, just to name a few. He spent endless hours with his children coaching hockey, baseball, and ringette. Together they enjoyed many family vacations. As well, Rick and Del have fostered many children over the past 28 years. Rick was employed by Manitoba Pool Elevators for 30 years. Rick was a kind and loving husband, father, son, and friend to everyone. Although Rick passed away at an early age, he left behind many wonderful memories and touched the hearts of all who knew him. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 12 at 2:00 p.m. in the Christian Fellowship Church, Gladstone with Pastor Randy Fehr officiating.
