MAURICE ROBERT ROGER JOSEPH BOURBONNIERE September 20, 1937 - March 10, 2002 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maurice, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Maurice leaves to cherish his memory Adeline, his wife of 41 years; and his three children and their families, Guy (Dana), Michel (Linda), and Lynne (Ian) Samson. Papa will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Jade, Josh, Lane, Joseph, Lise, Justin, Evan and Emma. He will be greatly missed by his sister Charlotte and his brother Denis (Arlette) Jeannine (Noel), Yvette (Gerry), Alfred (Marilyn), Harvey (Bert), Marcel (Yvonne) and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Born and raised in St. Boniface, he was a longtime member of the Club LaVerendrye, where he bowled regularly with his friends. What meant most to him was his family, and the wonderful times he shared with them. We will miss his outrageous sense of humour and his zest for life. He brought laughter and joy to the lives of many friends. He absolutely loved his work and was tremendously dedicated to it. He considered his customers and co-workers among his best friends. As well, Maurice dedicated much of his life to volunteering within the Catholic church and community. The family wishes to extend a warm and sincere thank you to the St. Boniface Emergency Health Care professionals for their heroic efforts and compassion. A celebration of Papas life will be held at the Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Ave., on Thursday, March 14 at 1:00 p.m. A gathering of family and friends will follow at Villa Cabrini, 433 River Ave. immediately following the funeral service.
