Sandra), and Rob (Debbie) his grandchildren, StJOSEPH ROBERT BUDOWSKI Peacefully, on Sunday, March 10, 2002, at Seven Oaks General Hospital, Joseph Budowski, beloved husband of Carol, passed away at the age of 70 years. Besides his loving wife, Joe is survived by his sons, Rick (Joan), Ron (even, Sara,Adam, and Laura. He is also survived by his brother Greg (Marie) and sisters, Alice Fudge (Ray), Jennie Bilun; brothers and sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Teklia; and brothers, Alec and Walter. Joe and Carol were married May 10, 1952, and were to celebrate their 50th anniversary in two months. Throughout his life, his main focus was his family. He devoted his time and efforts to his wife and sons ensuring that they had every opportunity in life. His next greatest love was his grandchildren whom he actively supported through their many activities. He was an active participant in all family events and spent many early mornings and weekends cheering and exchanging stories on the outcome. Joe was an avid bowler and card player who was less interested in the win and more interested in spending time with friends. Joe was employed for nine years with the Canadian National Railway and then began working for Paramount Glass and Millwork, retiring in 1997 after 37 years of service. He enjoyed his retirement, spending time at the lake and the farm with family and friends. Dad will always be remembered for his infectious laugh, caring ways and willingness to offer his help and support. His humility was central to who he was and he chose to express his intense pride through his family. Diagnosed in July with Pancreatic Cancer, he aggressively attacked this disease with the full support of his family. Carol and family would like to extend their sincere thanks to family and friends who visited and supported Joe with their prayers. A very special thanks goes out to the 5th Floor nurses at the Seven Oaks Hospital for all their words of support, gentle acts, and kindness. Pallbearers will be his grandson Steven Budowski, and nephews, David Bilun, Tim Dudeck, Glenn Dudeck, Ryan Dudeck, and Brent Byrd.
