HELEN FRANCIS MANHARD (McFADDEN) December 18, 1921- March 10, 2002 Peacefully, at Charleswood Care Home, on Sunday at the age of 80, Helen left us. She is survived by her three children, George (Francis), Robert (Denise) and Russell (Tannis) grandchildren, Jason (Connie), Matthew, Christopher (Colleen), Kimberly (Craig), Ian; great-grandchildren, Alysia and Eric. Helen was a working mom who owned and operated New Hargrave Lunch, worked at Eatons and later retired from the Municipal Hospitals as a nurses aid. Helens interests included crafts as well as bowling at Windsor Park Lanes. Helen was a volunteer with the Red Cross and worked with Scouts and Cubs. She was a member of St. Bartholomews AWC and the Eastern Star. Helen enjoyed many summers at Delta Beach at her cottage. Special thanks to the staff of Charleswood Care Home for the excellent care she received. Viewing will take place at Neil Bardal Funeral Home, 984 Portage Ave. (entrance on Aubrey), Wednesday, March 13 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service Thursday, March 14 at 11:00 a.m. Bill Vincent officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Bartholomew Anglican Church, 881 Autumnwood, Winnipeg, MB R3J 1C2. And as Mother would say, "Thats all folks", love Mother.
