Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMURIEL GRACE CHADWICK It is with great sadness that we wish to report the sudden passing of our sister and aunt, Muriel Grace Chadwick on March 11, 2002. She was born in the old Grace Hospital in 1921 and resided in St. James all her life. She is lovingly remembered and will be sadly missed by her only sister Millie Russell and her husband Gerry and their family - Douglas (Lori), Cathy, Debbie (Terry) and Wilf (Yvonne) sister-in-law Helen Chadwick and her family Terry (Barbara), Gregg and Steve (Donna) and her uncle Clarence Saunders and family. She also leaves numerous cousins and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews to remember her with love. Muriel was predeceased by her mother and father, Olive and Wilfred Chadwick; and her brother Ron. She worked for many years for Cassidys Ltd., and then moved on to work for the Federal Government in Human Resources until her full retirement in 1987. She kept well for several years before having to enter the Golden West Centennial Lodge in St. James, to whom we would like to give our wholehearted thanks for her care. Muriel was a faithful member of St. James United Church, participating in the Choir, UCW and the life of the church. She belonged to the St. James Business and Professional Womens Club and enjoyed the fellowship very much. She was a very happy, jovial and loving person and a very good friend. She had great faith and her favourite expression was "God will provide". "Be strong and of good courage; be not frightened, neither be dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9 A memorial service will be held in St. James United Church, 234 Parkview St. at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 18 to celebrate Muriels life, Rev. Don McIntyre officiating. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. James United Church Memorial Fund 234 Parkview St. Winnipeg, MB R3J 1S3 or to a charity of your choice.
