Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJENNIE BELL COPELAND Peacefully on March 13, 2002 at The Golden Door Geriatric Centre, Mom left us to be with the Lord. She will be reunited with her beloved husband Jack. Mom was born in Teulon, MB on December 27, 1915. She and her family moved to Winnipeg, where a lifelong friendship developed between a group of gals. This resulted in the formation of the "Sewing Club" group that carried on for many years. In 1941 she married Jack and home became a little house on Carriere Avenue in St. Vital where they raised their four sons. She provided a home where her sons friends were always made to feel welcome. Because of her love of children, when her sons were older, Mom decided to babysit at the local YMCA. Family meant so much to Mom. Prior to Dads passing, they never missed an event that involved the grandchildren! Moms life continued to revolve around the kids. She was so proud of them and their endeavours; she always offered words of encouragement and would do absolutely anything for them. The love and respect they gave back to her showed how much she meant to each and every one of them. Mom will be dearly missed by Tom and Joan and their children, Michelle (Kevin) and David (Tammy), and great-grandsons, Alexander and Maxwell; John and Rena and their children, Jason (Bonnie) and Jennie Marie; Don and Jan and their children, Melanie, Wesley and Jeffrey; and Ron and Brenda and their children, Alyssa, Dylan and Carly - who is now reunited with her Grandma in Heaven. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 19 at 11:00 a.m. at Thomson Funeral Chapel, 669 Broadway. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations can be made to Golden Door Geriatric Centre - Activity Department, 1679 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg, MB, R3T 2G6. WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. - JOHN 3: 15 THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
