Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRICHARD EVAN (DICK) LAVENDER A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 19, 2002 at St. Johns Cathedral (Anglican), 135 Anderson Ave., Winnipeg. R.E. (Dick) Lavender passed away February 5, 2002 in Lindsay, ON where he had resided in recent years. Dick was born in Winnipeg in 1912 and lived in this city until his service in Italy in the Second World War. He was a Chartered Accountant by profession. After the war, he moved to Toronto to work with the Toronto Stock Exchange until his retirement. He was an active, lifelong Anglican, attending St. Lukes Church during his youth in Winnipeg. He is survived by his son Harry of Vancouver, daughter Deirdre of Winnipeg and sister Jean in Lindsay, as well as cousins, including Elizabeth Lavender of Winnipeg and nephew and niece, Bill Stewart and Alison Darling, both of Winnipeg.
