Offer Condolences or MemoryFLORENCE (FLOSS) RIDDELL Peacefully on Monday, March 18, 2002 at Rosewood Lodge, Stonewall, Florence Riddell, formerly of Warren, MB. Florence was born February 15, 1913 at Warren, MB where she was also raised and educated. On May 8, 1934 she married Ernie Riddell and together they farmed at Warren. She was a busy homemaker raising six children. Florence enjoyed travelling, baking bread, sports, gardening and sewing. She was a great cook winning prizes at fairs for her lemon pies. During the winter Mom and Dad would travel to their winter home in Arizona. Florence was a longtime member of the W.I. Due to her Parkinsons disease, Mom moved to Rosewood Lodge in Stonewall in 1992 until her passing. Surviving to mourn her loss, six children, Jim and Sharron Riddell, Lee and Gord Sutherland, Chris and Helen Riddell, Bob and Lorraine Riddell, Brooke Gray and friend Don, Gordon and Donna Riddell; 20 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ruby (Bruce) and Winnie; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ernie in 1990; seven brothers, Dave, Earl, Gord, Jim, Milt, Stan, Cleve; three sisters, Blanche, Annie and Susie. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 23 at 2:00 p.m. at the Warren United Church. Bev Ward will officiate. The service will conclude at the church. Honorary pallbearers will be Mitch Riddell, Chris Riddell, Jeffrey Riddell, Rob Riddell, Randall Riddell, Dale Gray, Terry Gray, Myles Riddell. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to Rosewood Lodge, Stonewall, or to the Parkinson Foundation of Canada, 204 - 825 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3A 1M5.
