RACHEL THIBAULT (nee ADSHEAD) On Monday, March 18, 2002 our beautiful mother and grandmother, Rachel, at the age of 91, passed away peacefully at the Victoria General Hospital with her loving family by her side. She is survived by her daughter Yvonne of Winnipeg, MB; son Leonard of Fountain Valley, CA, daughter Mary Louise and husband Cas Szajewski of Beausejour, MB, granddaughter Michelle of Winnipeg, grandson Tim of Beausejour and his fiancee Kelly Bruchanski of Lac du Bonnet, MB, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and special niece Jan MacPhail. Rachel was predeceased by her husband Albert; son Lawrence and infant son George; parents, Charles Sr. and Rose Adshead (nee Green) brothers, Charlie, Clarence, Allan, Bud, Buzz and Norman; sisters, Bess Hanley, Lil Haldane, and Bell MacPhail. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Thursday, March 21, at 9:30 a.m., in St. Ignatius of Loyola Roman Catholic Church, 255 Stafford St., with Rev. Fr. Joseph Johnson, S.J. who presided. Interment followed in the Assumption Cemetery, 3990 Portage Ave. Pallbearers were Tim Szajewski, Michelle Szajewski, Kelly Bruchanski, Cas Szajewski, Ernie Mudrey, and Lorne Relf.
