JAMES PATRICK FITZHENRY January 10, 2002 - March 21, 2002 Peacefully, at home in his mothers arms, James passed away on the morning of Thursday, March 21, 2002. Left to cherish his memory are parents, Carl and Maureen Fitzhenry; sister Shannon; grandparents, Jack and Myrna Houston of Kelowna, Eileen and Sherman Murphy of Winnipeg, Dominic and Marlene Varrenti of Moose Jaw and Jim Fitzhenry and Ev Robinson of Trenton, ON. Baby James was a gentle soul who looked out at the world through big round eyes. He was a true gift of love to his family, which has been forever enriched by his short life. After several weeks hospitalized in Winnipeg and Toronto, James came home to be part of the family for the last 3 weeks of his life. Many thanks for the loving care of the NICU staff in Winnipeg and Toronto. Special thanks to nurse Moira in Winnipeg and to nurse Jean and Dr. Parvez in Toronto. You are true angels. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 24 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Variety Childrens Heart Centre, FE 241-685 William Ave., Winnipeg, R3E 0Z2 or the Childrens Hospital Foundation, CE 501, 840 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, R3A 1S1.
