KONRAD VALDIMAR LOFTSON On March 15, 2002, at the St. Rose du Lac Memorial Hospital, after a lengthy illness, Konrad Valdimar Loftson, aged 73 years, formerly of Lundar, MB. Kon was born January 18, 1929 in Lundar. In his early life he worked at Mink ranching in Lundar and later moved to Winnipeg where he worked as a taxidermist until ill health forced him to retire. Kon and his wife Nellie moved to Crane River, MB, and then to St. Rose du Lac. He leaves to mourn four sisters, Inga (Russell) Garbut (Einarson), Helga Bjornson, Thora Thompson, and Elsie (Bruno) Dudar; also numerous nieces and nephews. Kon was predeceased by his parents, Barney and Thora; his wife Nellie Loftson (nee McDonald) his brothers, Barney and wife Mona, Mundi, and Stephen; and sister Lena and husband Floyd Treanor.
