DION JAKE TOEWS Dion Jake Toews born July 31, 1978 in Portage la Prairie Hospital, passed away accidentally on March 15, 2002. He had currently lived in Winnipeg. He attended MacGregor Collegiate, Mennonite Collegiate Institute in Gretna and the Collegiate at the University of Winnipeg. Attended the University of Winnipeg, continuing his Business Administration studies at Red River College and recently finished up his Securities Trader certificate course at Red Rivers downtown campus. He loved hockey, Habs fan, the TFL pools stats, basketball, golfing, his nieces and nephew. His unique gifts, his stubbornness, dry sense of humour, his laugh and quiet, dedicated love to his family, especially the little ones, will be greatly missed. Those left to mourn are his parents, David and Elvera Toews; brother Darryl and Esther Toews, Leah, Elena; brother Dwayne and April, Avery; grandfather Peter Toews and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by grandparents, Isaac and Elizabeth Friesen, Anne Toews; uncle Alvin Friesen and cousins, Donna and Scott.
