Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryAGNES KATHLEEN FORREST Agnes Kathleen Forrest, beloved wife of Harry Forrest, passed away at the Souris Personal Care Home on the 20th of March, 2002 in her 87th year. Agnes was born on the family farm near Cartwright, MB and grew up in Killarney, MB. She is survived by her husband Harry Forrest; children, Helen Irene Forrest, Brian Henry Forrest, Margaret Jean Murray (Stan), and Karen Grace Forrest; grandchildren, Christopher Henry Valiant, James Forrest Valiant, John Laurence Forrest, and Fiona Margaret Murray. She is survived also by a sister Irene Farrell of Abbottsford, BC, and a brother Brian Sellers of Kelowna, BC. Agnes was a dedicated schoolteacher for many years prior to her marriage. She taught in rural schools including Melita and in the city of Winnipeg during the Second World War. She gave up her cherished teaching career to become a full time mother and homemaker. Her pastimes included curling and gardening. She was a longtime member of the Eastern Star. In later years she enjoyed travelling, shopping, playing bridge, her friends and neighbours and her grandchildren.
