INAS HELEN GEORGE Suddenly on Sunday, March 24, 2002 Inas passed away at the Seven Oaks General Hospital. She was in her 85th year and was predeceased by her parents, Dr. and Mrs. James P. George of Winnipeg. She will be sadly missed by her sister Virginia Shaw (Ted) and Mercedes Steeds (Ken) and many nieces and nephews. Inas had a successful career in the retail business in both Canada and the United States. She had a wonderful sense of humour and enjoyed numerous friendships throughout her life. For many years Inas lived in the Carberry Nursing Home. She spent her last nine years as a resident at the Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg. Her family wishes to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to the staff for the love, care and attention she received at both homes. Many thanks also to the doctors and nurses at the Seven Oaks General Hospital. Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
