Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVICTOR V. BORON Peacefully, on Friday, March 29, 2002, at the Middlechurch Home, Victor passed away at the age of 89. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Christel and sons, Victor (Wendy) and Tony (Michelle) and grandson Tim, all of Winnipeg. He was prdeceased by his daughter Waltraud. Victor was born in Myszkow, Poland in 1912. His early career as a mechanical draftsman was interrupted by the Second World War. Displaced, he was employed by the U.S. Armys 381st Battalion in Germany before eventually immigrating to Winnipeg in 1951 with Christel and his young family. There he worked for Claude Neon, Remis and Universal Signs. He was very talented as a landscape and portrait painter. The family wish to express their sincere thanks to all the staff at the Middlechurch Home and Misericordia Health Centre for all their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Victors memory to the Alzheimers Society.
