EMILY MARSH Peacefully in her sleep, Emily Marsh passed away on Monday, April 1, 2002 at the St. Boniface Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Ted (March 1977), and her two brothers and three sisters. She will be lovingly remembered by her son George (Irene) and daughter Joyce (George) Bigourdan; her grandchildren, Dawn (Gary) McLellan, Beverly (Patrick) Sinnott, Gary (Louise), Diane May, Sharon Green and Cathy (Kris) Thomasson; 11 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Emily was born in Copper Cliff, ON on February 7, 1900 and came to Winnipeg in 1941. She was an ardent five pin bowler and cribbage player. She enjoyed playing bingo and was an avid baseball fan. Most of all, she was a great mother. We will all miss her. Special thanks to Dr. R. Davey, the nurses and staff on the 6th floor at St. Boniface Hospital for all of their care. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2002 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). A gathering of family and friends will follow in the reception centre. Interment will take place at St. Vital Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
