Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryARTHUR WILLIAM IBBOTT May 2, 1909 - April 2, 2002 On Tuesday, April 2, 2002 Arthur William Ibbott passed away in the Grace Hospital at the age of 92 years. Art will be missed by his son Art (Teri) grandson Jason (Tracy) granddaughter Candyce; great-granddaughter Lauren; brother Laurie (Marge) and sisters, Marge and Eilene. He was predeceased by his wife Anne; brothers, Charles, Claude and Herb; and a sister Dorothy. Art retired from the CPR as a Carman at Weston Shops. This vocation allowed our family that yearly holiday to places throughout Canada and the United States. Our trips were orchestrated to make the best use of the opportunities available at each segment of the journey. When not travelling, or planning our next adventure, Dad enjoyed his involvement with the SPEBSQSA. His love for Barbershop harmony not only had him involved with the Winnipeg Choir, but also in several quartets. In retirement Dad became a chauffeur for his grandchildren ensuring that they got to school on time and were picked up and delivered home safe and sound. Dad was always a doting grandfather, and great-grandfather. Always remembered with kind words, and as a flirt by his caregivers, my Dad is the most memorable person I ever knew! Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 9 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Johns Cathedral, 135 Anderson Ave., with The Very Rev. R.J. Osborne officiating. My Dad believed in giving what he could to charity, so we ask that in lieu of flowers that you donate generously to a charity of your choice. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
