Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET (MAG) LUMSDEN Peacefully on Wednesday, April 3, 2002 at Oakbank Personal Care Home, Mag passed away at the age of 91 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, George (Coila), Jay (Bev) daughter Eleanor Gillespie (Murray) 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband George in 1969, and son Edward (Zeke) in 1981. Mag was born October 18, 1910, in Keewatin, ON. She later moved to Winnipeg where she met and married George Lumsden. They moved to the Dugald area in 1940 where she resided until her passing. She was active in the Springfield Curling Club for many years. Her favourite pastimes were playing bingo, cards and singing old-time songs. Mag also enjoyed knitting and crocheting many things for her family whom she loved having around her. A memorial service will be held in Oakbank United Church, 582 Balsam Cres., on Monday, April 8 at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Dawn Ballantine-Dickson officiating. Our family wishes to express our sincere thanks to all the staff at the P.C.H. for all their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mag to Kin Place P.C.H.
