Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAUL JOSEF NAGLER Paul passed away unexpectedly and peacefully, at home on March 31, 2002. He was born in Kanth, Germany, November 20, 1925 and grew up in Berlin. Paul proudly served with the Berlin Police Force after the war until he immigrated to Winnipeg in 1959. He worked in construction until he became a full-time "hobby farmer". There he was able to pursue his love of growing trees and vegetables - especially tomatoes. Paul was also a caring friend to all his animals and birds. We will always remember how Paul pursued with a passion whatever he undertook. Paul will be lovingly missed by his wife Onalee; her brother Richard Rudd and wife Dorothy, their daughters and families. In Germany, he will be fondly remembered by his many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Paul was predeceased by his daughters, Barbara and Lara in Canada and his parents and two sisters in Germany. A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 8 at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. Interment will follow in Mennonite Memorial Gardens, Symington Road South at Navin Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pauls memory to Laras Legacy (Private Funding, University of Manitoba), Barbaras Bursary (Development, Red River College) or charity of choice. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
