H. OZZIE OSTWALD Passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2002 in the arms of his dedicated wife Audrey. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by his five children, Bill (Tina) of Marquette, MI, Donna Shaw of Brazil, Gary (Connie) of Denver, CO, Robert of Port Albernie, and Janice (Pat) Ross of Nanaimo. He had seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Also left behind were his two stepchildren, Denis Gunning of Lethbridge, AB and Sandy Fuerst of Selkirk, MB, and many dear friends. The pride of his life were his children who brought him great love and devotion. He worked for Domtar Packaging in Winnipeg for 47 years. He retired in 1979, spending a year in Colorado and then moved to Penticton. He enjoyed 17 winters in Arizona, where he loved playing shuffleboard and pool and his association with his many friends. He loved life and everyone knew him by his booming voice. He is leaving a large void in the lives of so many. There will be no formal services at his request. In lieu of flowers, donations to the local chapter of the Cancer Society, would be appreciated. Cremation arrangements in care of EVERDEN RUST FUNERAL SERVICES, (250)493-4112.
