Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARVEY LLOYD SPOONER Peacefully on April 3, 2002, Harvey Lloyd Spooner passed away at the age of 73. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Beverley Mae; his sons, Dexter, Allan, Brian and daughters, Beverley (Craig), Suzanne (David), Barbara (Bob), Sandra (Mark) and Jody, as well as 11 grandchildren. Harvey was predeceased by his father Reginald; mother Marie and his brother Robert. Harvey was born in Winnipeg, June 6, 1928 and worked at the Canadian National Railway from 1949 until he retired in 1987. During his retirement he became an avid golfer, ten pin bowler and pool player. He will be sadly missed by the many friends he made as a long-standing member of the Norwood St. Boniface Legion Branch #43. Our family wishes to thank the doctors and nurses at the Grace Hospital Intensive Care Unit for their care and compassion shown to our father and family. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 8 at 1:00 p.m. in P. Coutu Funeral Chapel, 156 Marion St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8. Dad, I hope you've found peace and I'm sorry for not writing sooner. A client I looked after reminded me so much of you-blue eyes, good head of hair, sense of humor, appreciated music and I suspect he would have made a good actor on the stage preferably in comedies but could pull off drama as well.
