ANTHONY (TONY) FASO Peacefully on Friday, April 5, 2002 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Anthony Faso passed away at the age of 78 years. Anthony was predeceased by his brothers, Joseph, Laurence, Frank, Vincent and John; also by sisters, Mary, Mildred and Josephine. Anthony leaves to cherish his beautiful memory his loving wife Armande of 42 years and his son Tony (Ginette) and two granddaughters, Tiana and Kimberly. He is also survived by sisters, Rose and Margaret; brother Sam, sister-in-law Therese; and many nieces and nephews. Armande and Anthony were married in October of 1959. Together they raised a son named Tony. Anthony worked for C.P.R. for 45 years as a carman. He loved to play bingo, listen and watch hockey, and most of all Anthony loved to spend time with his family and two special granddaughters. The family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors on the 5th floor at the St. Boniface Hospital for all of their care and compassion shown towards Dad. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Emile Roman Catholic Church, 556 St. Annes Rd., with Fr. Rene Peeters officiating, on Tuesday, April 9 at 10:00 a.m., with viewing one half hour prior. Interment will be held at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8.
