ANNE MIKULIK June 30, 1935 - April 6, 2002 It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother (Baba) and friend. Anne is survived by her son, Lorne (Colleen) daughters, Debby (Frank), Sherry; grandchildren, Justin, Chelsey, Christie; sister Judy (Randy) and nieces, Terry, Noreen; and special friend Victor Jasper. Anne was predeceased by her husband Lawrence, December 26, 1997. Anne grew up in Winnipeg and attended Luxton and St. Johns High School. She was employed at Kahans. She also worked at Middlechurch Nursing Home and in the small family business, Lawrence Mikulik and Associates. Many years were spent at the cabin at Barrier Bay in the Whiteshell with family and friends. Many retirement years were spent in Texas. Anne was well known for supplying Christmas dainties and perogies to family and friends. She also loved gardening, family dinners and bingo. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 9 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Liver Foundation.
