BARRY BURTON On Friday, April 5, 2002 at San Diego, CA, after a long, courageous struggle with cancer, Barry Burton passed away at the age of 55. For the past 15 years Barry made his home in the San Diego area, where he established a retail and commercial tool business. He was liked and respected by his customers and colleagues. Predeceased by his father, Leo Bokofsky, in 1992, Barry will be sadly missed by his mother Gertie Bokofsky of Winnipeg, his brother David Burton and nephew Jonathan Burton of Toronto. Barrys suffering has finally ended and we trust that his soul is at peace. His family would like especially to acknowledge Barrys nurse, Michael Olsen, who was a friend as well as a caregiver. A graveside service will be held at Shaarey Zedek Cemetery, Tuesday, April 9 at 4:00 p.m. If desired, donations in Barrys memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or to the charity of ones choice.
