FLORENCE PALMER March 4, 1938 - April 8, 2002 It is with deep sadness that the family of Florence Palmer announces her passing at St. Boniface General Hospital, Monday, April 8, 2002 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Florence was predeceased by her loving husband Cyril; her mother Eva; her father Gabriel; brothers, Peter and Leslie. She will be sadly missed by her children, daughter Sharon (Brad) sons, Bill (Lorri) and Tom (Sharon) her grandchildren, who she adored and loved immensely, Jesse, Dylan, Chantel, Tyler, Nathan and Garrett. She leaves to mourn her passing her sisters, Lillian and Dolly; brothers, Norman, Leo, Arthur, and Donald; and many nieces and nephews. She worked for Endurapak for several years and retired due to illness. She loved to socialize and spent many hours shopping. She enjoyed spending time with her family and had a wonderful sense of humour. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 11 at Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave., with Pastor Jim Poirier officiating. A gathering of family and friends will follow the service in the reception room. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave. Special thanks to the Palliative Care nurses and doctors. In lieu of flowers, donations made in Florences name to the Canadian Cancer Society are appreciated. This caring, gentle lady will be missed by all who knew her.
