Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROY EDWARD BAUSMAN On Friday, April 5, 2002, after a courageous struggle, Roy passed away at the age of 85 at Deer Lodge Centre. He is survived by his wife Marie and their three children, Gerald, Sandra and Debra (Brian). He had two grandchildren, Jamieson (Katherine) and Jasmine and one great-grandson, Jordan. Roy also leaves behind a sister Pearl and many relatives and friends. Roy was born on September 11, 1916 in Sperling, MB. He served his country overseas in the Canadian Army during the Second World War, 1940 - 1945. Roy and Marie married on May 10, 1946. He worked at Deer Lodge Hospital until his retirement in 1975 and was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #9. Roy was a good neighbour, a hard worker and loved the earth and all that came from it. His kind and gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew him. The family would like to express a special thank you and appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff on T6 and 3E Deer Lodge Centre for their compassion, understanding and caring. God Bless you! A private service was held on Wednesday, April 10 at Doyles Funeral Home and Greeenwood Cemetery, Carman, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Roys memory to the Alzheimers Society. Youve got your wish Dad, youre "Going Home" Thank you God for the gift of this gentle man, Roy Bausman.
