Offer Condolences or MemorySTELLA KORMYLO-NOLETTE (HOMENIUK) (nee BARTESKI) 1916 - 2002 Peacefully, with family members at her side, Stella went to her eternal rest on Tuesday, April 9, 2002, at Regina General Hospital, at the age of 86 years. Stella was born in Saskatchewan, lived in Winnipeg and Ste. Agathe, MB, and Kamsack, SK for the past 10 years. She was employed in the Hospitality Industry at the Royal Alex Hotel and Fort Garry Hotel until her retirement, at age 65. Stella was a hard worker her entire life. She accepted life as dealt to her and handled every situation with authority. Stella was predeceased by her parents; all her siblings, Anne, Joseph, Walter, Mike, Mary, Ben, Paul; three husbands, John, Nick, William; and eldest son Bill Homeniuk in 1982. Stella leaves to cherish her memory, Adrien, her soul mate of 28 years; two sons, Lou Parker (Jane), Gary Kormylo (Eilleen) grandchildren, Jason (Jennifer) Parker, Michele Parker, Garret and Ashley Kormylo, Ryan, Skye, and Jodi Homeniuk; great-grandchildren, Brett Wilson and Brad Homeniuk; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Nettie (Walter), Sophia (Ben), Frances (Paul). Stella will joyfully be remembered for her generosity, her cooking/baking skills especially her pyrogies. The family graciously thank the nurses and doctors at the Kamsack and Regina General Hospitals for their attentiveness to Stellas medical care. Cremation has taken place at Stellas request. A memorial service will take place on Thursday, April 18, 2:00 p.m., St. Stephens Roman Catholic Church, Kamsack, SK. Rev. Fr. Hector Seville presiding. Interment Saturday, April 27, 11:00 a.m., Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., Winnipeg, MB. Rev. Fr. Terence McGrath officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Stellas memory, to Eaglestone Seniors Lodge, 346 Miles St., Kamsack, SK, or a charity of ones choice.
