Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKAZIMIERZ KUZDUB March 2, 1916 - April 12, 2002 Peacefully in his sleep, on Friday, Kaz passed away at Tuxedo Villa Nursing Home. Kaz leaves to mourn his loving wife Audrey; their four children, Stephen (Monique), Philip, Brian (Theresa) and Sandi (Yvonne) six grandchildren, Christian, Justin, Kristen, Kenneth, Marta and Pavel; and extended family in Poland. Kaz was born in Marcinkov, Poland. He joined the Polish Army and served in the Second World War with the Carpathian Lancers, fighting in North Africa and Italy, receiving many medals. After the war he was stationed in England and then in 1947 immigrated to Canada, where he worked as a Lumberjack in Atikokan and then as a Car Man at the CPR Weston Shops in Winnipeg. Kaz met and married Audrey in 1955 and raised their family in Winnipeg. He belonged to Club 13 Legion, where he spent many enjoyable Friday evenings playing bridge. Summers were spent with the family at their cabin in Otter Falls. After his illness, he resided in Tuxedo Villa for the last two and one-half years. The family wish to thank Dr. M. Burke and the staff at Tuxedo Villa for all their care and compassion. Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 15, at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A private interment will take place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kazs memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or the Heart and Stroke Foundation. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
