Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHARLES EDWARD STEVENSON Peacefully following a brief illness, Charlie, aged 85, passed away at Deer Lodge Centre on April 8, 2002. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 64 years, Ellen; parents, Agnes and John, four sisters and three brothers. Charlie leaves to mourn daughters, Lorraine and husband Jack Dillabough, Eleanor and husband Rick Robson; sons, Bill and wife Betty, Ed and wife Diane; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; a sister Laura Owsianski of Burnaby, BC and many nieces and nephews. Dad joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1941 and after his discharge in 1945, he worked in Winnipeg in the garment industry until his retirement. Dad enjoyed many years of hunting, fishing, curling and, in his later years, golf. Dad will be missed by his family and friends as well as the staff of T3, Deer Lodge Centre, who provided him with excellent loving care over the past several years. A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, April 20 at 1:00 p.m. in the Deer Lodge Centre Chapel, 2109 Portage Ave. A private family interment will take place at a later date in Rivers, MB.
