I knew Rod back in 1975 and beyond to 2002, I played many a gig with Rod as a drummer and also taught music lessons at his music studio. It has been a long time and finally found his obituary. He was a great musician and friend, may memories, too many to detail. Rest in peace Rod. - Posted by: flavio cianflone (musician and friend) on: Mar 19, 2023

Rod and I played in a band in the 1950's and early 60's Len Mark, and a few more well known musicians. I gave up the trumpet in 1962. I didn't know Rod had passed away until 2009 or 10 when I met Gil in Safeway. I missed him all those years. I always considered him my best friend. I'll miss him deeply now. take care Gil - Posted by: Gary Okopski (friend whom I have not seen in years... ) on: May 03, 2014
