BOGUSLAW (BOB) LUKASIAK After a tragic accident at his work on Saturday, April 13, 2002, Boguslaw (Bob) Lukasiak, aged 48 years, beloved husband of Barbara, passed away at the Health Sciences Centre on Monday, April 15, 2002. Besides his loving wife Barbara, he leaves to mourn his father Stanislaw; and sisters, Elizabeth and Halina of Poland; and his many friends and co-workers of Winnipeg. He was predeceased by his mother Irena. Boguslaw was born on April 29, 1953 in Warsaw, Poland. He came to Canada with his wife Barbara in 1987. For the past four years he worked for Pauwels Canada. Prayers will be held at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, April 19, at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 20 at the Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave., with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment will follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery, 4387 Main St. Barbara would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Health Sciences Centre Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Fr. Kazimierz Kozicki, OMI, Fr. Jozef Nieslony, OMI and Fr. Sean Cahill, his employer Mr. Greg Smith and human resources manager Donna Rennie, all of our wonderful friends who were at his bedside with their support, prayers and kindness during his last hours.
