Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARTHA OPPENLANDER On April 13, 2002 at Concordia Place Care Centre, Martha Oppenlander passed away at the age of 98 years. She is survived by two sons, Theo (Marlis) of Saskatoon and Otto (Trudy) of Vancouver; grandchildren, Reinhard (Shirley) Mohr, Elfriede Rupps, Hans (Colleen) Mohr, Peter (Lee) Mohr, Barbara Mohr, Rosemary Rupps, Helga (Jack) Eva, Tony (Lynette) Rupps, Dorothy (Michael) Dufty, Richard Rupps, Harry Oppenlander, Andy Oppenlander, Audrey Oppenlander, Ralph (Marei) Oppenlander, Perry (Jennifer) Oppenlander, Karen (Brian) Weltzin, and David (Debbie) Oppenlander; 23 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Martha was predeceased by her husband Gottlieb; daughters, Olga Rupps and Leontine Mohr; great-granddaughter Ravon Mohr; and son-in-law Henry Mohr. Martha lived in her own home until the age of 93. She enjoyed her gardening, her many family gatherings, and lived a long and happy life. Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 19, at 1:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Viewing prior to the service. Special thank you to the 4th floor staff of Concordia Place. Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
