JEANE ETHELYNE CROSS Peacefully, on April 15, 2002, surrounded by family and friends, our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away. She was predeceased by her husband Robert, two brothers, and beloved grandson Steven. Jeane was much loved and her memory will be forever cherished by her devoted daughter Elizabeth, son Bob (Eleanor), son David (Diane), special grandson Christopher (Debbie), granddaughter Sharon (Vijay), great-granddaughters, Diana, Evelyn, Kali. Jeane was passionately proud of her life and her love for her husband, her daughter and two sons. She enjoyed a busy social life during her married years, having fun entertaining at home, participating in square dances and the Rebeccas. She was active and a loyal supporter of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Winnipeg. Being a very creative individual, with a gentle and kind spirit, meeting each day with gusto, she inspired many along her Lifes Journey. A service in memory of Jeane will be held on Friday, April 19 at 4:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley St. The family would like to express gratitude and appreciation to the staff at Poseidon Care Centre, 5th Floor.
