WILLIAM HENRY (BILL) ELLIOTT July 20, 1964 - April 16, 2002 Peacefully on April 16, 2002, after a long courageous battle with cancer, passed away with his family by his side. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Bill and Sarah; sisters, Linda (Tim), Nancy, Wendy (Real) aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews, Ryan, Breanne, Nathan and Nicole. Bill was a very giving and fun loving man. He liked to joke around, sing and play guitar. He enjoyed spending time with his friends, also teasing and caring for all the children in his life. He had a great love for animals and was a very active man, always travelling here and there on his motorcycle. Bill loved to fish and camp and enjoyed many trips to Marchand with his friends. We will all miss him with great sadness but will cherish every smile and the great memories he had with us all and will keep them with us forever. He was very strong and taught us all how to live with courage no matter what obstacle we needed to pass to enjoy life. We would like to thank the Palliative Care Ward at St. Boniface Hospital, Kristine Newel and Dr. Crow, for the care they gave him in his final days and throughout his illness. Also a special thanks to Home Care nurses, Marie and Abdul for their care and kindness. Also gratitude to his many friends who kept him upbeat and happy throughout his illness and in his final days. Prayers will be held on Thursday, April 18 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 19 at 10:00 a.m., also at the Chapel. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Bills memory to CancerCare Manitoba or the Winnipeg Humane Society. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
