ALICE IRENE HURMAN (nee SWANSON) It is with great sadness and gratitude that her suffering is over, that we announce the passing of our Mom and Baba, Alice Hurman on Tuesday, April 16, 2002 at Seven Oaks Hospital. She has been reunited with her husband Daniel and son Leonard. Together, they will dance, walk and live PAIN FREE with their Lord and Saviour! The knowledge of this is a comfort and a blessing. She will be forever remembered by her daughter Laurie; son-in-law Stan; grandchildren, Kris, Jeremy, Whitney and Scott Schroeder. At Alices request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 20 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo, 1442 Main St., with Pastor Jim Zurbriggen officiating. The family would like to thank the staff of Seven Oaks Hospital, especially 4U11 for their care and compassion. Thanks also to Home Care, especially Barb and Sharon for helping her to stay in her home as long as possible. It was heart warming to see how much you all truly cared about my Mom. We would also like to thank everyone at Oakbank Baptist Church for their prayer support and ongoing acts of kindness over these past few difficult years. God works through people and he has me surrounded by people who love and care for me. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alices memory to Juvenile Diabetes or Rheumatoid Arthritis.
