She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 47 years, Peter; her father John Hallmark; mother Lottie (Bradley) sisters, Elsie, Ila, Dorothy; and brothers, Wallace, Gerald, Gordon; and tragically by her youngest grandson Matthew. Olive is survived by her son Donald (Angela) and grandson Michael of Vancouver; brother Lorne and sister-in-law Marjorie of Winnipeg; several nieces, nephews and many friends. Olive was born in Miami, MB, on October 29, 1910, and spent her life in Manitoba except for these last three years. The Pearce children were born in Miami. The family moved to the Swan Valley area (Kenville) in 1918. Peter first saw Olive there. They were married in Winnipeg in 1938 and lived in St. Vital and Norwood. Following Peters death she stayed in the little house on Lloyd St. until moving to St. Peter and Paul Manor. In 1999, she moved to Vancouver to be near her son and grandsons. On some Saturday night we know that Ollie and Pete will be joined up there by Ann and Ern, Wally, probably Nellie and Walter and grandson Matthew to play cards and talk politics, Oh, to listen in and relive the old days.
