ARNOLD DREW METCALFE On April 16, 2002, with family by his side, Arnold Drew Metcalfe, aged 75, passed away at St. Boniface General Hospital. Arnold was predeceased by his parents, Norah Greig and Arnold Edward Metcalfe. He is survived by his children, Leslie McNulty (Jimmie), Susan Aprile (Rene), Nancy Tremeer (Everett), Gregg Metcalfe and Cheryl Eckstein (Bryan) his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arnie was born in Regina and moved to Winnipeg in his youth, where he remained until his death. He was a long-time employee of the Canadian National Railway and Burlington Northern Railway until his retirement in 1981. From 1966 until his death, he enjoyed many summers at his camp at Rock Lake, ON. Arnie will be remembered by all who knew him. He was a collector of all things, large and small. Arnie was a character who will not be soon forgotten. At his request, there will be no formal funeral service. Family and friends are invited to attend a gathering to be held in his memory at the home of his daughter, Leslie McNulty on Saturday, April 27, 2002 between 4:00 and 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
