Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN GORDON CLAIR UDELL It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our father, Clair, at his residence in Baldur, on April 14, 2002. Born in Brandon on February 15, 1942, dad lived there until 1949 when his family moved to a dairy farm three miles east of Ninette. Due to his fathers illness, dad was faced with being head of the household at the tender age of 12 years. He continued farming until circumstances and ill health required he leave the farm and move to Baldur in 1995. Dad will be remembered most for his great sense of humour, his honesty and his humility. Clair is survived by three daughters, Kelly, Winnipeg, MB, Maureen and Paul, Calgary, AB, Gail and Shane, Winnipeg, MB, and five grandchildren. Also surviving him are his sister and brother-in-law, Marie and George Morrison, Nanton, AB; nephew Doug Morrison and family, Stony Plain; niece Jaye Papp and family, Calgary, AB; two special aunts, Eva Udell and Doreen Hurl, Brandon, MB; and many cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Helen Udell in 1962 and 1994. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held on April 20 in Baldur. A graveside service will take place at the Carroll Cemetery at a later date. Should friends desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
