Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE HENRY BENTLEY With great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our father and friend on April 19, 2002 at his home in Winnipeg. Left to cherish his memory are mother of his children Merle, daughters, Barbara, Cheryl, and Janice; son Craig; grandchildren, Patricia, Shannon, Sheri, and Colin; five great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. George worked with the C.P.R. as a locomotive engineer for 43 years. In his retirement he travelled extensively with is longtime friend Marie. He spent many hours making his yard his paradise. His generosity and support as a friend and father will be greatly missed. George fought a gallant fight of 20 years with cancer, beating all odds. Our grateful thanks to his careworkers who made it possible for him to pass in peace at his home. Your compassion gave him the dignity he deserved. Memorial service to be held on Tuesday, April 23 at 2:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. No. 1 East at Navin Road. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Georges memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 9Z9. "Now you are our angel" We love you Dad.
