ELEANOR JOSEPHINE ORINK Peacefully, on Sunday, April 21, 2002, at Maples Personal Care Home, Eleanor Orink passed away at the age of 78 years. Eleanor was born in Winnipeg in 1923 and lived here all of her life. She was employed by the Canadian Wheat Board for 42 years, and made many friends there. She was also a very active volunteer at the Canadian Red Cross. Eleanor also enjoyed travelling during which she made many friends around the world. An only child, Eleanor was predeceased by her mother Mary Orink in 1943, father Joseph Orink in 1971, and by her stepmother Anne Orink in 1981. She will be lovingly remembered by her many cousins and dear friends. Memorial mass will be held on Friday, April 26 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Marys Cathedral, 353 St. Mary Ave., with Rev. Fr. Darrin Gurr officiating. Private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Eleanors memory to the Alzheimer Society, Unit 10, 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
