Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTANLEY JOSEPH WASOWICZ It is with great sorrow that our family announces the sudden passing of Stanley Joseph Wasowicz on April 22, 2002 at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 78 years. Stanley will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Sophie of 55 years, daughter Joanne, son Joseph (Monique) and precious little grandson Christopher Wasowicz. Left to mourn one brother Gene (Marilyn) Wasowicz, brother-in-law Joseph (Helen) Slomiany of Brandon, niece Wanda (Ithan) Bullard, nephew Wally (Jenny) Slomiany of Brandon, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Alexandria Wasowicz; and baby nephew Leonard Slomiany of Brandon. Stanley served in the army during the Second World War, stationed in Nova Scotia, was an active member of 48 years in St. Marys P.N.C. Church Committee, worked at CP Rail Weston Shops for 37 years. After retiring, he enjoyed bowling, long walks, yard work and spending time with family and friends. He will always be remembered as a good and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was loved by all and we will miss him dearly. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, April 24 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 25 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Marys Polish National Catholic Church, 361 Burrows Ave., with Very Rev. Msgr. W. Cwieka officiating. Interment will follow in St. Marys Polish National Cemetery. Special thanks to paramedics, Seven Oaks Hospital staff and Dr. Cleghorn for all their efforts.
